Returning Items
 

East View Nautical and nautical.eastview.com will always stand by its product. If for some reason your product arrives in poor condition please let us know within 10 days after receipt of the item and we will either get you a new one or get you a refund. Please contact us at 952-252-1203 to alert us of items damaged during the shipping process.

For items in normal condition, please contact our customer service department at 952-252-1203 within 14 days from the date of the original order to insure a proper refund. Refund requests received within 14 days of the original order are subject to 20% restocking fee. Instructions will be given about how to return the items.

In the event you are returning an item which was originally shipped for free, a charge of $3.49 will also be against any refund amount due.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns after 14 days of purchase.

Shipping Terms and Conditions
 

SHIPPING CHARGES Most orders are shipped 1-2 business days after order is placed. If for some reason your order cannot be shipped in full, we will contact you within 2 business days. You can also see how soon a product will be shipped directly on the product page.

The most economical shipping is a flat US$3.49 shipping charge for all orders sent by USPS Media Mail. This shipping type usually takes between 7-14 days to most locations. Some items such as wall maps have shipping surcharges added to cover the cost of special packaging.

If you need a faster delivery, select USPS Priority Mail which will be somewhat faster (2-3 days from shipment to delivery). The charge for priority shipping is automatically calculated at check out, or when you are registered and logged in.

Shipping via the United States Postal Service is not trackable. Undelivered packages are not the responsibility of LongitudeMaps.com and/or East View Nautical. We will do all we can to help recover lost packages but replacement of undelivered packages is the responsibility of the orderer. It is possible to make an order and ship via a trackable delivery service or expedited delivery service. We offer UPS Ground, Second Day, and Next Day Shipment Types. The amount for UPS delivery services are calculated at the time of checkout.

Please note: We do not offer UPS Saturday, Sunday or holiday delivery options. When calculating the estimated delivery date, please use only non-holiday business days (Monday - Friday). Therefore, a '2nd Day Air' package sent on Thursday will arrive on Monday (as long as Monday is not a holiday).

For international orders we ship via the US Postal Service. The amount for shipping is automatically calculated at check out, or when you are registered and logged in. International orders normally take between 7-14 days from shipment date to delivery date depending upon location. When shipping internationally (including Canada), some governments impose duties, taxes and/or brokerage fees which are not included in the product or shipping price and will be required to pay upon delivery.

Due to the nature of the product, from time to time contents are slightly damaged, frayed, or wrinkled during the course of getting the items from the publisher to the warehouse and from the warehouse to the consumer. All purchased items though leave the warehouse in a condition considered to be in, at least, like new condition. LongitudeMaps.com is not responsible for minor damages and is unable to make replacements free of charge for items damaged during shipping. Of course, we want you to be happy with the products you have purchased, so we will do whatever possible to help you replace the damaged items. But shipping cost to return the items to the warehouse and to get the new items to you, if not covered by the carrier's insurance, are at the consumer's expense. Thank you for your understanding.
